India Pale Ales (IPAs) are usually a beer drinker’s primary introduction to craft beer. IPA’s cover a multitude of beer styles; but the main characteristics of these beer styles are herbal, fruity, and citrusy flavors. . Some may find them to be bitter due to the high alcohol levels. IPAs can vary dramatically in taste based on the variety of hops used in the making of the beer. We promise its not hard! The most prominent types of IPAs are New England Style IPA, West Coast IPA, and British IPA.
